MG Figurerise Kamen Rider W Cyclone Joker Part 4

The invisible split

Moving on with the legs and waist of MG Figurerise 1/8 Kamen Rider W Cyclone Joker this time ^^

Parts for the right leg.

Linked movement of the parts inside the thigh and knee allows the thigh armor to move whenever the knee joint is bent. Something all too familiar on MG Gunplas eh? ^^

Very wide articulation range for the ankle joint, and the front portion of the shoe can be bent as well.

A very interesting design point on this kit: The split between the two sections of the shoe is almost undetectable when you look at the sole. ^^

Separable components of the leg.

Completed.

Overall articulation

The ankle joint is not hindered by the ankle guard in any way at all. ^^
The rubbery sole parts make the touch to surface more secure than normal PS or ABS parts.

Two-point movable joint for the hip provides extra stability to all standing poses. ^^

Parts for the left leg.

Separable components.

Completed.
Like the arm units done yesterday, the assembly between the two legs is all the same.

A look at the split of the sole. ^^

Overall articulation

Parts for the waist.

Joints of different colors on either side of the groin.

The joints can swing for a wide degree, separately as well.

Combining the joints with the groin parts will put a limit on the joints.

The joints move with the each half of the groin as combined components now.

The belt comes as left and right parts plus a tab on the back.
A huge ball-type joint controls all the articulation of the waist.

Some last-minute painting for the split on the waist part, something I forgot to do in the Part 2.

The most colorful component, the henshin device, and the most intriguing component of the entire model, the body unit will be in the next posting. ^^
