1/100 Duel Assault Shroud Part 2

Free flow day for whiteboard marker ink

Starting the work on 1/100 Duel Gundam Assault Shroud with the painting of a few parts.

Inner walls of the thrusters and the missiles should be in yellow.

Hand painted.

Paint used is Mr. Color 109 Character Yellow.

Optional stuff - painted the nozzle area of the shoulder railgun in red using Gundam Marker Red to make it stands out from the black body.

Like this. ^^

Painted the areas inside the waist armor in gray using Gundam Marker to separate it as the mecha component from the armor.

Painted black for the interior of the slots on the waist armors using black whiteboard marker ink.

More work for the black whiteboard marker ink - on the interior of all the armors.
Very wide area with no obstacle is a simple job for the ink. Apart from the smell of the ink, it's pretty fun to do. ^^;

Panel-lined all the parts after scratching away all excess paint on the edges of the armors.

Just panel-lining for the details behind the shield.
The entire part inside plate is supposed to be in gray, according to the manual, but I didn't paint it so for the same shield on my 1/100 Sword Strike Gundam and Astray Red Frame, or even Master Grade Aile Strike Gundam, so I'll skip this one as well to make it inaccurately consistent with the other shields of the same line. ^^;

More parts to paint in the next posting. ^^
