MG Johnny Ridden's Customized High Mobility Type Zaku II Ver. 2.0 Part 8

In before the super fine details focus

Going back to work on Master Grade Johnny Ridden's Customized High Mobility Type Zaku II Ver. 2.0 after a week. ^^

Focusing all effort on the legs this time, which is no doubt the component with the most parts on this kit. As a matter of fact, I think this MG Zaku II Ver. 2.0 variation might well be the kit with the highest part count for the legs in the entire series. ^^

A lot of parts doesn't mean much if the details are little, and this kit sure has tons of that installed, especially on its inner frame parts, as usual. Some of these parts were already painted in Part 2, but there are more of course. Apart from the most basic frame inherited from the first MG Zaku II Ver. 2.0, many parts are added on to form the high mobility type leg thruster component, and the amount of details on those parts is unlike anything I've seen before. ^^ Those parts are taken out for a separate posting, so this first one will focus on parts other than those first. ^^

All parts for the left leg.

Simple panel lining for the armor parts.

Only a few parts are selected to be panel lined for their details on the rear face - those that might be seen in certain poses that is.
It has always been my habit of not bothering with anything behind the armors. ^^

A little fixed pipe on the knee joint will be painted silver later on.

An even minor one on the connector between armors is painted gold and silver using normal pens.

Panel lines done for the other inner frame parts, all which are parts from the original MG Zaku II Ver. 2.0.

Little boxes on the inner frame parts for the thigh are painted red using Gundam Marker.
This color scheme is going to be repeated for one of the high mobility parts later on.

To be consistent with the paint work done on the much larger thrusters did in Part 2, the much smaller thruster set on the side of the leg is painted red for its interior (using Gundam Marker), then gold for the base (using normal pen).

Test fitting the thrusters on the high mobility part.

Paint work done for three high mobility type parts, which is almost like a preview to what's coming up for the main ones. ^^;

All the work is repeated for parts from the other leg.

Parts that have some areas on them painted.

Panel lining for the interior of the armors.
More areas are panel lined for these two parts actually, as I was having some doubt which part to be seen, and which isn't. After completed these two parts, I went back and reapplied equivalent add-on to the panel lines did for the left leg armors.

Done for the basic leg parts, moving on to the more complicated ones next. ^^
