Revoltech Protect Gear the Red Spectacles Edition Part 4 [Final]

Flexibility versus feel

More action poses of Revoltech Protect Gear after the previous posting. ^^

With support using Soul Stage Act 3 Action Support Clear Type.

As mentioned in Part 1, I never watched "The Red Spectacles" before this review, so I have no idea of how the Watchdog of Hell moves in order to copy some of their poses onto this figure. ^^; But based on the action I watched in "Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade", the action poses you see in this posting are totally out of character. XD An unstoppable force of brute firepower, watching Fuse (the main character in "Jin-Roh") in action is like watching a tank killing off unarmored men. While it's fulfilling to see him running through all the skimmers and conspirators with no mercy, his action is very minimal - he didn't even have to switch armaments. ^^; When I was adjusting action poses on this figure, I certainly didn't try to follow what I saw in "Jin-Roh", but went with whatever I could do with all the joints designed. If I do try to be character-accurate here (for "Jin-Roh" not "The Red Spectacles"), on one pose with one armament is enough. XD

In realizing that flexibility that might not be there at all, this Revoltech version certainly offers tons of options. ^^ For those those don't know anything about the "Kerberos" series, the nice paint work and details of this Protect Gear figure and various weapons to choose for its action poses are pretty interesting. ^^ There are more to the story than just firepower action of the "Kerberos" squadron in the series, so character accurateness isn't that important when it comes to this figure. ^^

Just for the fun of it, here's a size comparison with Figma Haruhi School Summer Fuku Ver., ...

... and Transformers Prime's Legion Class Cyberverse Arcee. ^^
Due to her tiny size, Cyberverse Arcee is on my desktop all the time, so she'll most probably be making cameo appearances in many upcoming reviews. XD
