HGUC Kampfer Part 4

Red means Kaboom

Still a large number of parts remaining for HGUC Kampfer after the previous posting, but the requirement for paint work was no longer as "intensive" in comparison. ^^

Working on the arm parts this time. ^^

Simple panel lining for the right arm parts

Extra gray paint work using Mr. Gundam Color UG09 MS Gray Zeon applied to the exposed area inside the shoulder armor and elbow section to show those areas as being part of the inner mechanical component of the arm instead of its armors.

Test fitting the painted parts to see how the shoulder armor would turn out when assembled. ^^

Simple panel lining for the outer side of the forearm and shoulder armors.

The border between the upper arm parts was painted black using normal marker to emphasize the gaps' appearance.

Simple panel lining for the left arm parts.

All of the left arm parts' detailing was identical to that done on the right arm, except for the stripe on the spike. ^^
A thin piece of clear sticker is included for the stripe, but I prefer to paint it using Mr. Color No. 1 White Gloss to make the stripe's appearance more obvious. ^^
Like the yellow paint for the thrusters' interior, multiple layers of white paint were needed to cover up the spike's base color.

Test fitting the painted parts to see how the shoulder spike would turn out when assembled. ^^

The same optional gray paint work behind the shoulder armor and forearm parts.

The border between the upper arm parts was painted black as well.

Rather simple detailing work for the waist parts.

The front and rear waist thrusters were painted using Mr. Color 109 Character Yellow.

(Left) Simple panel lining for the external details of the waist parts.
(Right) The border between the waist parts was painted black using normal marker.

The one-piece shotgun mount latch part has some intricate details molded on its hard-to-reach interior, but the detailing work was made easy by Tamiya's Panel Line Accent Color (Black). ^^

Simple panel lining for the beam saber handles and Sturm Faust mount latches.

The tip areas of the Sturm Faust parts were painted using Mr. Color No. 158 Super Italian Red Gloss to make the weapons' appearance more outstanding.
From Part 2, the mid section of the chain mine pieces were all painted red as well. ^^

Panel lining done on all the parts when the paint had dried.

Will continue with the work on the rest of Kampfer's weapons in the next posting. ^^
