From the currently "hibernating" S.I.C. Kiwami Damashii line, this is Kamen Rider Blade King Form from Tamashii Nations. ^^ Even though Garo Kiwami Damashii Kiba reviewed last December can be considered to be from the same series due to its product name, but strictly speaking, Kamen Rider Blade King Form is the first returning figure from the S.I.C. section on this blog in about 14 months, after Kamen Rider Hibiki which was reviewed in early December 2013.

Speaking of which, I think many would share my sentiments of disappointment and surprise that the S.H. Figuarts version of this Kamen Rider was set as a Tamashii Web Shop limited item. ^^; It's such a popular design that it's already surprising that the figure took such a long time to be released, but its status as a limited item, which made the price really expensive, was quite disappointing. ^^; I didn't have the budget for it when the item was announced for pre-order, so looking at its promo images, and reading up reviews done by those who do own it is the best I can do to imagine how the figure is actually like. ^^;

Having reviewed the regular-sized S.I.C. version years ago, the beauty of Kamen Rider Blade King Form with the S.I.C. treatment makes it a design I'm very fond of. ^^ Donning a full golden armor is awesome enough, the various beast-themed (technically Undead) emblems all over the armors, clear blue background for the chest seal, and the spiky crown-like headgear for the helmet are icings on the cake. ^^ While its size has been greatly reduced for this product line, the promotional images shown when this figure was first announced revealed that it inherited much of the amazing sculpt work and detailing from its first S.I.C. version. ^^ For the love of the character, which is mostly due to the design of the Kamen Rider suit itself, plus liking its S.I.C. detail treatment, I pre-ordered this figure the moment it was made available on a local hobby website. Then again, like many other figures in my collection, I didn't take it out for review years after receiving it. ^^;

A very small overall package it is, the figure and almost all of the accessories included can be seen through the front window.

Size comparison between S.I.C. Kiwami Damashii Kamen Rider Blade King Form's package and BB Senshi Sangokuden Bacho Blue Destiny's box.

S.I.C. Kiwami Damashii Kamen Rider Blade King Form's package is so small it can be placed inside BB Senshi Sangokuden Bacho Blue Destiny's box, with still additional space around it. ^^

The figure itself and all of its accessories are so tightly packed on the plastic tray they don't move one bit when the tray is being held in an upside-down position. ^^

Closeups on the details.

A simple hard paper cutout as the package's backdrop.

The elaborate pattern on the backdrop features an interesting composition of the four face card patterns.

An instruction sheet is stored inside the backdrop between the cards.

The instruction sheet included shows the package content and how to configure Kamen Rider Blade King Form's weapons.
