Figma Inori Yuzuriha Part 1

For the beauty and elegance, nothing else

Switching over a moe-type collectible after the review on BB Senshi Sangokuden Sonsaku Physalis Gundam. ^^

After RoboCop in early February, this is only the second Figma action figure to be featured on my blog this year. ^^

Frankly speaking, I have zero knowledge about the character before rushing to pre-order her when this Figma was first announced. ^^; Liking the figure's beautiful overall design, paint work, and her elegant look is the only reason behind the purchase. When the figure eventually arrived about two months after her release in Japan, there was no change in my opinion about the figure and my purchase decision for her, and even after reading up about the character when I'm writing this review, I didn't find any additional reason to make me like the figure more.

Not even the extra robot companion figure with its own articulation features and a pair of handguns seem important to up Inori's attractiveness to me. I just love this Figma for the awesome design of the Figma herself. ^^

While that impulsivity is not uncommon with many of my purchases, Inori Yuzuriha still stood out as one of the more "extreme" examples. ^^ As such, the beauty of the figure is going to be the main, if not the only focus of this review. ^^

Except for its set of option hand units, and Figma stand, the content of this Figma figure can be seen easily through the front window.

Typical Figma design on all sides of the box.

Instructions (in Japanese text ^^;) on how to remove the hair and swap out the face part can be seen on one of the box flaps.

The figure's dress pieces are placed on a second plastic tray, stored behind the top tray.
The two plastic trays were cleverly designed to avoid collision between Inori's sleeves and the dress pieces which protrude to the back and upward on their respective trays. ^^

The folded instruction sheet from the content.

The instruction sheet included shows the content list, minor assembly required to attach the dress pieces to Inori's waist, and equipping the pistol to the figure's hand.

The backdrop design certainly matches the figure's color scheme. ^^

A look at Figma Inori Yuzuriha's accessories and option parts in the next posting. ^^
